Mr. Kafka, an unknown producer invites 5 opera singers and a pianist to make a film adaptation of Rossini’s famous opera “The Barber of Seville” with the promise of success and fame. Based on a true story, this film adaptation in 3 episodes starring the extraordinary music of the immortal G. Rossini is a reflection on the distinct faces of the opera world.

An opera buffa in two acts by Gioachino Rossini with an Italian libretto by Cesare Sterbini composed in 1816.
The libretto was based on Pierre Beaucharchais’s French comedy Le Barbier de Séville (1775).
