The Barber of Seville – There are many ways to tell an Opera (film) Episode 1: First Day of Rehearsals Mr. Kafka, an unknown producer invites 5 opera singers and a pianist to make a film adaptation of Rossini’s famous opera “The Barber of Seville” with the promise of success and fame. Así baila mi trujillana “Asi baila mi trujillana”, by Juan Benetes Reyes is a “marinera”, a typical romantic couple dance from the Peruvian coastal region. In the most famous variation, the “Marinera Norteña”, the female dancers wear big, beautiful dresses, but they perform barefoot; and this mostly on rough surfaces. In our video Kathye Molina dances on the bare concrete floor of an old ironworks. Kathye Molina is a Peruvian dancer who teaches and practices her folkloric dance in Germany. Juan Carlos Navarro studied classical guitar in Peru and Germany. He is one of the most active Peruvian guitarists of his generation. He regularly gives master classes and can be seen at international concerts, competitions and guitar symposia. CONTRIBUTION Video production

Cuando tú no estás “Cuando tú no estás” is the last movement of the extraordinary piece “Preludios de Primavera” by the well-known Cuban guitarist and composer Joaquin Clerch. The video uses images showing how thoughts struggle to remember a loved person while being interrupted and impeded by miles of ideas comparable to the interfering effect of a bad television signal. In addition to “El adiós” and “Y si pienso en la Habana”, “Cuando tú no estás” was published as part of a video triology by Sarume in autumn 2019. The Cuban born guitarist Junior Zambrana Sarracent is the central figure of this project. He has played as soloist at numerous guitar festivals. He is currently based in Düsseldorf, where he teaches at the Robert Schumann Musikhochschule. CONTRIBUTION Video production

Recuerdos de la Alhambra (live concert) ​​“Y si pienso en la Habana” is the fifth movement of the extraordinary piece “Preludios de Primavera” by the well-known Cuban guitarist and composer Joaquin Clerch.​​​​The work is a tribute to Havana, the City of columns, and was created based on Clerch’s nostalgic thoughts of his home, the colorful island of Cuba.​​In addition to “Cuando tú no estás” and “El adiós”, ​​“Y si pienso en la Habana” was published as part of a video triology by Sarume in autumn 2019 .​​​​The Cuban born guitarist Junior Zambrana Sarracent is the central figure of this project.
